Taber Reciprocating Abraser (Abrader) with Magnetic Stripe Abrasion Kit

With the Magnetic Stripe Abrasion Kit, the Taber Reciprocating Abraser will meet the requirements specified in ISO/IEC 7811-2 and 7811-6 and ISO/IEC 10373-2 test methods.

This kit simulates wear on the magnetic stripes of cards due to read head abrasion that might occur during the life of a card.  The test uses an aluminum abrading head to rub the magnetic stripe surface under controlled conditions.  After abrasion, the signal amplitude of the magnetic strip of a card is measured and the magnetic stripe appearance is assessed.
