Fluid Delivery Tip

Taber Linear Abraser (Abrader) with Fluid Delivery Tip

To perform chemical and solvent resistance tests with the Taber Linear Abraser, a special ¼ inch spherical Fluid Delivery Tip is available.  Manufactured from a porous material, these disposable tips feature an intricate network of open-celled, omni-directional pores.  This enables the tip to absorb and retain a fluid after being immersed for approximately 1 minute.  The tip can be mounted in the standard Wearaser collet.

IMPORTANT: Although a variety of fluids can be used, harsh or caustic chemicals should be avoided.  The following is a list of substances that are recommended by the manufacturer at 21°C (70°F).
